Ferulic acid is a strong antioxidant found in the cell walls of plants such as rice and oats. When applied to the skin, it reacts like any other antioxidant. It slows down the aging process of the skin by neutralizing free radicals. Free radicals are caused by daily aggressors such as stress, poor nutrition, polluted air and UV light. We have added the ferulic acid to La Vitamin C Powder, because it stabilizes the vitamin C and enhances its effect. We use ferulic acid made in Japan our of rice bran oil.
