SKINCARE FOR
SENSITIVE SKIN

The origin of sensitive skin can be found in a variety of causes. An allergy to a specific ingredient in skincare products or cosmetics may be the cause of the reaction of the facial skin, or there may be a chronic condition at the root of the problem. It is also possible that there is no allergy at all, but that the use of too many (different types of) skincare products and cosmetics is causing the problem. And then there are also people for whom no apparent reason is present. Their skin is just extremely delicate, or highly sensitive, and they are simply very unlucky to have a very reactive, sensitive skin type.

SKINCARE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

Every skin is different and may react differently to ingredients in skincare products. Natural, synthetic, or even hypoallergenic skincare products or cosmetics: there is no guarantee that your sensitive skin will not react with an allergic reaction to any specific ingredient. Sensitive skin can even overreact to clean, natural skincare.

ALWAYS TEST YOUR SKINCARE PRODUCTS FOR SENSITIVE SKIN!

If you suffer from sensitive skin, we advise to always test any skincare product by doing a patch test first. Put a small amount of the skincare product on the inside of your elbow and wait 24 hours to see if any reaction is happening before applying the product to your face.
